Tereza Dvorak

Hello! My name is Tereza Dvorak and I am a Track IV (Peoples and Nationalities) International Relations major with a focus on Western Europe. My studies have been greatly influenced by my annual immersion into Czech culture while visiting my extended family in the Czech Republic. Because of these visits I have been fortunate enough to have traveled extensively around Europe. As a result I hope to have a career where I have the opportunity to travel extensively and work internationally. This past summer I explored the option of a career in public relations at a San Francisco start up called HeyLets that created an app that provides people with a means to share and discover new experiences at home and abroad. Additionally, I have taken a look into the nonprofit world through working with the Czech School of California. Though my career path is not set in stone I thoroughly enjoy exploring the diverse opportunities my International Relations major gives me. I'm always enthusiastic about meeting new people and really look forward to connecting with my fellow IR students! Always feel free to come by and chat about anything from course scheduling to career path crisis!

Samuel Udo

My name is Samuel Udo. I am a 3rd year International Relations major focusing on Peoples and Nationalities in Latin America, along with a Spanish minor. This past Fall, I studied abroad in Mexico City for a semester, improving my Spanish and getting to know the beautiful and rich culture of Mexico. I have always had a passion for traveling, learning and meeting new people. Starting from a young age, I have had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the U.S., Central America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. After I graduate, I want to join the Peace Corps, and work in a Spanish-speaking country. Apart from traveling, some of my hobbies include; playing and singing music, camping, backpacking, snowboarding, reading, and playing card games. I am a friendly, easy-going guy, so please feel welcome to stop by during my advising hours to chat about, your major, traveling abroad, or anything else!
